Treatments

Every procedure, with its limits stated.

Nine treatment guides covering the mechanism, the realistic result, recovery, complications and the questions to ask. None of them recommends a clinic, quotes a price or shows a result, and each page explains why.

How to use these

Start with the treatment you were considering, then read the section on who it does not suit. A large proportion of disappointment in this field comes from a well-performed treatment applied to the wrong problem. If your concern is loose skin, no injectable will fix it. If your concern is a line that only appears when you move, no amount of filler is the answer.

Then read how to choose a clinic in Glasgow, which sets out the verification steps, and what drives cost, which explains why two quotes for the same treatment can differ so widely.

Enquiries

Ask a question before you book anything.

This site does not sell treatment and has no appointment book. What it can do is help you arrive at a consultation with the right questions, and tell you plainly when a procedure is not the answer to the thing that is bothering you.

Enquiries are read and answered by Aesthetic Launch Lab, the UK aesthetics digital specialist that operates this website. Please do not send clinical details or photographs. If something has gone wrong after a procedure, contact the practitioner who treated you, or NHS 111 in Scotland, rather than waiting for a reply here.

Occasional notes when a guide is added or a rule changes. Your address is stored only to send them and is never sold or passed to a clinic. Unsubscribe by replying to any message.
